How to Use Your Brand Effectively

How to Use Your Brand Effectively

I wanted to record a short video on actually using your brand to grow your business because you’ve invested so much time and effort and money into creating a beautiful brand. I want you to know how to use it, and I want you to know how to use it effectively. Number one thing that you can do, (the number one mistake that most people make) is not using their brand consistently, whatever your colors are, those are your colors.

You should use them, always, whatever your fonts are, you should use those. Always! The minute that you start straying from the brand that we’ve created together is the minute that you start confusing your ideal clients, about who you are and what you offer. So stick to your brand. If you feel like you’re getting sick of your brand, I really want to encourage you that that is a good thing, because it means you’re being consistent and your ideal client doesn’t get sick of your brand.

They just become more and more aware of you. So don’t be afraid to be consistent. Secondly, if you do feel like you need to expand your brand, maybe you have another project that you want to be underneath the umbrella of your brand, or you want to launch a side service to whatever you’re doing. Take the time to consider how that fits into your brand.

Maybe it’s something that we need to add to our project to brand it, or maybe it’s something that can exist on its own, but really be strategic in how you expand your business so that your brand stays really, really strong. If you have questions about how something fits in with your brand, how to price things based on your brand, how to offer new services or products based on your brand, go back to your brand strategy.

ask yourself how it fits in with your core beliefs, your values, your vision, and your mission, and go from there. I want your brand to be useful, and I want you, these documents. I want your brand to be useful, and I want your brand to help you make more money. So as you consider these things, consider raising your prices, consider making your work more exclusive because your brand has been so thoughtfully created.

I’m excited to see what you do. I’m excited to support you. And when you’re ready to announce your brand on social media, please give me a shout out so that I can support you as well.
